On Saturday night Alex took the kids (I was backstage) to the Youth Temple Celebration. They were able to watch lots of cultural dances and hear songs from the choir. They were even able to be there in person to hear the prophet speak! They were spell bound through the whole night and behaved themselves very well! Fortunately it ended up not being very hot.
The program consisted off vignettes and dances covering such times as pioneer, miners, big band era with jitterbug, Spanish dancers, girls in pink poodle skirts and even a potato rap. It was such a fun night and a great cultural experience for them.
