Daily Schedule for 10/06/08

Pray/Pledge
Theology: Preach My Gospel, Lesson 4: Obedience and we used True to the Faith: Obedience
Bible History: David becomes King
Scripture Reading: Matthew 17
Friend Article: We read 3 articles
Biography/American History: 3 chapters in The Young George Washington
Read-a-loud: Read 1 chapter in Prince Caspian and 3 chapters in Fablehaven
Family History: Finished the last 2/3 of my father's autobiography
Math: Read The Coin Counting Book by Rozanne Lanczak Williams
PE: Went on a scooter/bike ride
Reading: We take turns reading all of the above material everyday.
Science/Pet Care: Jared and Olivia each have a hamster that they are responsible for. They also take turns caring for our dog, cat and sea monkeys.
Family Home Evening: Tonight was Family Home Evening and we talked about Zion and making that our most important goal. This was based on Elder Christofferson's talk from General Conference 10/08

Practiced the piano and had his piano lesson
Science: Watched an Eyewitness Video: Skeleton (human body)
Math: Lesson 28
Math Drill: 2 Multiplication fact/drill pages from a workbook-5's
Spelling: 1 spell drill
Handwriting: Cursive U's
Book on Tape: He listened to a Geronino Stillton book on tape for 1 hour while he played with his army/catapults.
Reading: Read 30 minutes in his McGuffy 2nd Reader to me
Life Skills: Oatmeal Raisin Cookies
Olivia
Music: She practiced her voice lesson. And then she practiced her violin, recorder and saxophone. She said it was a "music day."
Science: She did watch part of the above science video, but not all of it.
Math: Lesson 28
Spelling: 1 spell drill
Language Arts: Types of sentences
Creative Writing: Blogging
Computers: Blogging, Good Reads, Selecting Music for her Blog, etc.
Typing: Computer time
Free Reading: 45 minutes of Work and the Glory #2
Life Skills: Sloppy Joes

Luke and Caleb: Practiced their spelling words from school and each read for 30 min. They were there for Fablehaven and the scriptures.
