Bible History: Jesus Feeds the Five Thousand

Biography/American History: Read 6 chapters and finished Martha Washington by Joan Marsh
Literature: 5 poems from A Child's Garden of Verses by Robert Louis Stevenson
Fairy Tales/Fables: The Goose Girl retold Wallace Wadsworth and The Giant and the Beanstalk by Diane Stanley
Memorization: First 8 States in the Union, Books of the Old and New Testament and Books of the Book of Mormon
World History Literature: Read The Hero Beowulf by Eric A Kimmel we also watch Beowulf by Schlessinger Media
Science: Ocean Floor and Tectonic Plates from The Kingfisher Science Encyclopedia
Reading: We take turns reading all of the above material everyday.
Science/Pet Care: Jared and Olivia each have a hamster that they are responsible for. They also take turns caring for our dog, cat and sea monkeys.

Religion: Scriptures (In the Book of Mormon)
New Era Article
Music: Had her voice lesson and 20 min on Music Ace-She did the pitch section.
World History: Read Chapter 19 from Story of the World vol. 2 to Luke
Art: Drew a picture and colored it
Writing: Created some games and prizes for the kids which required lots of writing.
Math: Lesson 80
Spelling: 1 spell drill
Language Arts: Prepositions
Computers/Typing: Digital Scrapbooking
Reading: 15 min from Jane Eyre

Jared
Religion Reading: Old Testament Reader
Music: Practiced his piano lesson
Math: Lesson 70
Logic: Played a chess game
Spelling: 1 spell drill
Handwriting: Cursive W's
Free Reading: 2 hours+ of Eragon

Luke
Religion Reading: Book of Mormon Reader
Music: Practiced his piano lesson. 20 minutes of the Music Ace
World History: Olivia read him Chapter 19 from Story of the World vol. 2.
Science: Assembled his cast for his dinasour skeleton and then made the mold for it's skin. It's being refrigerated over night. Tomorrow we will take it out of the cast and display it.
Math: 1 Saxon Math 2 lesson
Spelling: 1 spell drill
Phonics/Handwriting: 5 pages from Explode the Code
Free Reading: 1 1/2 chapters from Eragon

Caleb
Music/Computers: Over two hours on The Music Ace. He loved this. I think he learned a lot about music. He was doing the instructional lessons.
Spelling: 1 spell drill
Handwriting/Phonics: 4 pages from Explode the Code
Small Motor Skills: Mazes and cuting and pasting

To Show Parent Core/Love of Learner/Scholar here are some things we modeled to the children today...
Deanna: Scriptures, Journal, Piano, blog post on another blog I write for, 3 hours from a Clive Cussler book, spell drill and Good Reads.
Alex: Scriptures, Went to work (Boise day), listened to Plague Ship by Clive Cussler for 6 hours while driving and driving, and went to a Priesthood meeting. We are also reading Richest Man in Babylon together.
