Memorization: Books of the Old Testament, Presidents of the USA and we started the states in Alphabetical order: A's
Family History: Biography of Catherine Norman Ward my ggrandmother
Science: Earth's Structure from The Kingfisher Science Encyclopedia and Underwater Forests and Coral Reefs from Kingfisher Voyages: Oceans by Ron and Valerie Taylor
Art: Played and made shapes with Moon Sand for 1 hour
Reading: We take turns reading all of the above material everyday.
Science/Pet Care: Jared and Olivia each have a hamster that they are responsible for. They also take turns caring for our dog, cat and sea monkeys.

Religion: Read Alma 24
Music: Practiced the piano and practiced her voice lesson
Math: Lesson 78
Spelling: 1 spell drill
Language Arts: Prepositions
American History: 1 hour of old Radio Broadcasts about Thomas Edison and the Titanic
Writing: Wrote a paper on Zeus and the Olympians (because she wanted to)
Computer/Research: Zeus, Hera and the Olympians
Free Reading: 1 hour Jane Eyre
Life Skills: Banana Bread and Strawberry smoothies
Computers/Art: Worked on photos on her new Adobe Photo Shop Elements
PE: Shoveled snow

Music:
Practiced the piano and had his piano lesson
World History: 1 hour of Story of World Vol. 1 CD's
Math: Lesson 68
Spelling: 1 spell drill
Phonics/Handwriting: 1 page of Explode the Code
PE: 30 min Cardio
Creative Play: Lots of Legos 3 hours?

Luke
Music: Practiced his piano lesson
Science Reading: Read 30 min and finished his book Dinosaur Days
Math: 1 page from Saxon 2
Spelling: 1 spell drill
Phonics/Handwriting: 3 pages from Explode the Code
Creative Writing/Typing: Worked for over and hour and finished his story on the computer! It's very good. It's 4 typed single pages. We are going to edit it a little bit before he "publishes" it.
Creative Play: Played with Legos for over two hours.
PE: 3o min of cardio

Caleb
Math: 2 pages from a workbook
Fine motor skills/logic: Cutting and pasting
Spelling: 3 spell drills
Art: Played for another hour in the Moon Sand creating
Reading: Read 1 phonics book to Olivia
Caleb likes to follow Olivia around and do things (like cooking) with Olivia.

Family (in the evening):
Family Home Evening: Goal Setting
Game: Star Wars Trivial Prusuit
Government: Wrote mock bills for a "Day on the Hill" government all day field trip they are going to in Boise in three weeks.

To Show Parent Core/Love of Learner/Scholar here are some things we modeled to the children today... (I realized I should put scripture/journal and stuff)
Deanna: Scriptures, Journal, Piano (I have a piano solo in two weeks I just found out about), Read 30min of my George Washington bio, registered them for the "Day on the Hill," laundry, put on scout patches for two shirts,
Alex: Scriptures, Ensign, Went to Work, Listening to Plague Ship by Clive Cussler
