So Olivia decided she wanted to take a scholar class! She's super excited! We went to the first one today. They will be discussing Walden by Thoreau for the next month or two. She likes it so far. She has an oral assignment for next week. She spent a lot of time reading today and she was taking notes. Olivia also had a current dictionary out and she had the hefty 1828 dictionary out. She's such a good girl. I'm proud of her for making big kid choices, but it's kind of sad. My kids are growing up!
The class meets weekly. I really like the teacher. He teaches at the Commonwealth school also. She has 7 people in her class.
