Biography/American History: We read 3 chapters in Little House in the Big Woods.
Literature: Watched Ulysses (The Odyssey) - the old version - (we finished an abridged version of The Iliad and The Odyssey last week)
Music/Character: Rhythm Poem
Science Literature: We read a chapter of A Wind in the Door.
Memorization: 12 apostles-they've got this moving on to.....?
Science: Proteins, Carbohydrates and Fat from Usborne's Book of Knowledge.
PE: Baseball was cancelled because of the high winds.

Olivia
Religion: Read a chapter in the Book of Mormon.
Music: Practiced the piano. We ended voice lessons until the fall.
Math: Did lesson 139 in Saxon 6/5.
Language Arts: Noun review from Easy Grammar

Writing: Did an Editor-in-Chief lesson. (editing)

Reading: Read a McGuffy Third Reader lesson.
Handwriting: Did a cursive writing lesson from A Reason For Writing series.
Book on Tape: He listened to an hour of Peter and the Starcatchers.
PE: Played Wii Sports
Literature: Watched 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea.

Luke
Religion: Read several chapters in the Book of Mormon.
Math: Did several lessons in Saxon Math 2.
Spelling: 1 spell drill
Phonics/Handwriting: 5 pages of Explode the Code
Free Reading: Finished Lions At Lunch Time, a Magic Tree House book.
Reading: Read a McGuffy Second Reader lesson.
Computers/Typing: Played some learning games on the computer.
Creative Play: Lots of dress-up

Caleb
Religion: Read a couple of versus in The Book of Mormon.
Science: Olivia read him part of a science picture book.
Math: Did half of a workbook page of add/sub.
Math Application: He measured half of the rooms in our house and the furniture with me.
Spelling: 1 spell drill
Phonics/Handwriting: 1 page of Explode the Code
Reading: Read a phonics reader and a lesson from the McGuffy Primer to me.
Creative Play: Lots of dress up.
PE: Running on the treadmill and Wii Sports.

To Show Parent Core/Love of Learner/Scholar here are some things we modeled to the children today...
Deanna: Scriptures, journal, conference talk, word of the day, finished Oedipus at Colunus & answered the questions for my class about it, read and finished of Robinson Crusoe, practiced my piano piece for the June piano recital, started my BYU American History class, and ordered coupons for big food savings this week.
Alex: Scriptures, word of the day, LAST DAY AS A TEMPLE ORDINANCE WORKER, went to work, listening to Master and Commander and went to a scout roundtable meeting.
