Bible History: Burial of Christ and we watched a 60 min video about the life of Christ.

World History: Usborne Starting Point History: Who Were the Romans? by Phil Cox
Science: Spiders and Insects from The Kingfisher Science Encyclopedia
Writing/Presentation: They each wrote about the book(s) they are going to talk about at our party tomorrow and they practiced them.
Science/Pet Care: Jared and Olivia each have a hamster that they are responsible for. They also take turns caring for our dog, cat and sea monkeys.


Olivia
Music: Practiced her voice lesson.
Religion: Read one chapter of The Book of Mormon.
Government: Read 4 pages in a government book.
Math: Lesson 96
Game: Played Phase 10 with me.
Spelling: 1 spell drill
Language Arts: Prepositional Phrases
Vocabulary: Peterson's Word of the Day- PANACEA
Reading: Read Jane Eyre for 30 min. She also read numerous Usborne books.
Business/Life Skills: Did lots of things with me for the Usborne book sale tomorrow.

Religion: Read one chapter in The Old Testament Reader.
Music: Practiced his piano lesson.
Math: Lesson 85
Math Drill: Multiplication Wrap-ups
Game: Played one round of Phase 10 with Olivia and I.
Spelling: 1 spell drill
Phonics/Handwriting: 5 pages of Explode the Code
Free Reading: Read 3 chapters in Eragon.
Creative Play: Lego's for a couple of hours.

Luke
Music: Practiced his piano lesson and played on Music Ace for a while.
Math: Did a Saxon Math 2 lesson.
Spelling: 1 spell drill
Phonics/Handwriting: 5 pages of Explode the Code.
Free Reading: Read various books for an hour.
Phonics/Computers: Played Explode the Code online.
Creative Play: Lego's for a couple of hours

Caleb
Math: 1 math page
Spelling: 1 spell drill
Phonics/Handwriting: Did 7 pages of Explode the Code
Free Reading: Looked/Read a lot of books for several hours.
Reading: Sight Words
Phonics/Computers: Played Explode the Code online.
Creative Play: Played Lego's for an hour.
Science: Played Brain Pop, Jr and learned about weights and measurements and several other things.

To Show Parent Core/Love of Learner/Scholar here are some things we modeled to the children today...
Deanna: Scriptures, journal, spell drill, word of the day, read and researched quite a bit for our home show tomorrow and cleaned!
Alex: Scriptures, word of the day, went to work, went to the Day on the Hill at the Capitol for insurance people, and he listened to Dracula by Bram Stoker.
