Deanna: Scriptures, went to the temple, word of the day, read several chapters in my BYU textbook for English, studied for my next writing assignment and lots of reading in The Undaunted by Gerald Lund.

Alex: Watched the kids while I went to the temple, scriptures, word of the day, went to work, taught a class at scouts (mutual), attended a Bishopric meeting, and listening to Atlas Shrugged.

Family: Had a Lord of the Rings movie fest. I believe that the Lord of the Rings trilogy is the most important movie (series) for my family to watch. The lessons in that movie sum up almost everything I want them to know about the world. It is a true classic and the series will continue to be watched over and over and discussed over and over in our home.

Also chores and animal care.
