Science: We read about birds from The Natural World Illustrated Science Encyclopedia by Usborne. We also read a chapter from Science: A Closer Look by Macmillan/McGraw-Hill.
Scriptures quizzing: I quizzed them for an hour on scriptures/church history facts.
Game: We played Monopoly and Jungle Journey.
Chores: House chores and animal care
PE: Danced to Christmas music for over an hour. Okay and lots of pillow fighting and wrestling in all of that.

Olivia
Religion: Read a chapter in the Bible.
Math: Did a Saxon 7/6 lesson.
Language Arts: Did a Daily Grams lesson.
Research/History/Writing: Finished writing her paper about George Washington for her Friday Scholar class.
Science: Did a science lesson from her science textbook.
Music: Practiced her piano lesson.
Book on Tape:Listened to a Nancy Drew book on tape.
PE: Went on a walk.
Logic/Math Game: Played Battleship.

Caleb

Music: I gave him a piano lesson and sang some songs with me.
Game: Played a couple of games with me.

To Show Parent Core/Love of Learner/Scholar here are some things we modeled to the children today...
Deanna: Scriptures, journal, word of the day, various reading, practicing the piano, went through a lot of things (tomorrow our big dumpster leaves and we've made good of of it) and threw away a lot!
Alex: Scriptures, word of the day, listening to some church CD's, went to work, working on the tile-about 60% done, and did some home teaching.
